Help and Support

Vidita is a day planner for iPhone. It keeps your plans, routines and to-dos, notices what actually happened (where you went, when you woke up), and asks when it isn't sure. What it knows stays on your iPhone.

Quick answers

Do I need an account?

No. Vidita works without signing in, and everything stays on your iPhone. Signing in with Apple adds an encrypted backup and sync with your other devices.

How do backup and sync work?

In Settings, under Backup and Sync, sign in with Apple. Vidita encrypts everything on your iPhone before it leaves, with a key kept in your iCloud Keychain, so Vidita's server can't read your backup. Your other devices get the key through iCloud Keychain and stay in sync.

What does Waiting for iCloud Keychain mean?

Your backup is encrypted with a key from your other devices, and iCloud Keychain hasn't brought it to this iPhone yet. Check that iCloud Keychain is on in iOS Settings, under your name › iCloud, here and on your other device. Until the key arrives, Vidita works on this iPhone and syncs after.

How do I delete my data?

Settings › Delete My Data clears your events, routines, places, to-dos and what Assist knows; your friends stay. While you're signed in, it's cleared from your backup and your other devices too. Your account stays.

How do I delete my account?

While you're signed in, Settings › Delete Account deletes your account and everything Vidita's server has for it, then disconnects your Apple ID from Vidita. What's on your iPhone stays until you use Delete My Data or delete Vidita.

How do I turn off Help Improve Vidita?

Turn off Help Improve Vidita in Settings. The copy it sent is deleted from Vidita's server.

What does Vidita do with my information?

The Privacy Policy says, feature by feature, what stays on your iPhone and what leaves it.
